in the 'zone'
« on: August 02, 2008, 10:19:00 PM »
man i had an awesome practise session yesterday arvo. i was hitting little pieces of styrofoam on a sandy hill out to 15m sometimes more. one time i hit this piece and it flew away a couple of metres, i nocked the next arrow and smashed it again! was generally shooting really good two arrow groups. in the end i was facing away from the target and pivoting 180' without moving my feet and still shooting good. kneeling and still nailing them. i was in the 'zone'. didn't need to consciously think of form or force myself to concentrate on the target. it just happened. practise can be fun to! any of you guys had days where it just happens for you? how often? see if i can do it today. boy does it build confidence!!
