I just want to take a few minuets to thank all of you gents (and ladies). With just one post and a desire to pursue traditional archery I was welcomed into a group of interesting, kind and just plain "cool" people. I would have never imagined the level of support and advice I have received here.
I would like to personally thank Phil Parsche for organizing a "starter kit" for me and p1choco for the advice on draw length and bow selection.
When I signed up and posted for TradGang, all I was expecting was some advice and maybe a few product reviews on equipment. What I got instead was an outpouring of goodwill. It seems as soon as I said "Military", gears started whirring and plans started getting formulated for getting me into Trad Archery ASAP. To my shame, after being assailed by the news and print media I was beginning to get discouraged about how America saw and supported Her troops. There is no way to describe how relieved and happy to know that there are still Real Americans out there that honestly support the troops.
Rest assured, everyone in or around my shop is well aware of exactly how wonderfully this community is responding, I would not doubt we get a few more converts to the "Trad Side".
So, to all of you out there and all of you donating time and equipment: a heartfelt "Thank You". Not just from me, but from all of us over here that have been reminded of exactly why we signed on that dotted line, and continue to do so.
