Fletching - how far from back of arrow?

How far from the knock end of the arrow do you place your fletching?
I usually go about 1-1/4" so I don't catch the fletching with my fingers on the draw.

I like for my fletching to just reach the shelf when the arrow is nocked. It makes for a quick check of brace height.

I cant remember what mine is but there is a mark on my bitz. I shoot cock feather in and this mark puts the 10 o'clock hen feather on the tip of my nose at full draw.
