Im thinking about buying one of the Barta packs. Any one have input on this pack. Will be used for one to two day hunts or day pack from hunting camp.

I have had mine for over a year. It is not the lightest pack on the market. That is the down side. Everything else about the pack I like, it is well laid out. In the last year I have taken mine on five seperate hunts without a failure or problem of any kind.

I looked at it in the store, but the weight was too much. Nice pack though.

Very heavy, but also heavy duty.  Definitely cheaper packs out there as well.  I'd do some serious looking around because you can quite possibly find something lighter or cheaper, and if those are higher on your list than some dude's name....
