Great in the wind, warm, but noisy and somehow just does not feel right.

I have it in the berber fleece camo jacket and its really quiet. but those jackets are pretty thick and that helps.

I just picked up a wool sweater with the wind stopper lining in cabelas bargin bin for 23 bucks which I think is pretty much the same thing.  Had a little tear in the lining that I stiched back up.  I figure if there is wind for back ground noise anyhow shouldn't make much difference and I plan on having another layer on top.  So it should cut the noise too. dino

I never had a problem with it being noisy. I've had deer close and not hear me draw my bow. It sounds loud because you are wearing it.

I've got the older "windstopper" and the newer "windshear". Older stuff sounds like it's stuffed with walmart bags. Newer stuff is nice and quiet.

I have the berber fleece jacket and pants and I do not find them to be noisy. Great product and very warm, these items kept me out hunting when the temperature dropped.

I found the wind shear noisy for ultra close deer encounters on those cool crisp mornings. After getting busted twice I now only use mine for moose hunting.
