Well another fall hunting season is upon us. This is just a reminder for everyone to make safety a priority. We have north of 17,000 members now, lets make it a goal for everyone to come home safe and sound. I know this is common sense stuff and most everybody does it but it only takes an instant to turn the hunt of a lifetime into your last hunt. Its the little details that are easy to do and often overlooked. Let someone know where you'll be and when you'll be back. Use your safety belt/harness...the one in the car and the one in the tree. If you're in the woods during firearms season wear some blaze orange in and out, even if you're hunting private land, someone may have slipped in. If you're in the backwoods be prepared if you have to stay overnight. I know some think they are ten feet tall and bullet proof, I know I used to. Experience has taught me otherwise. Have a safe season and shoot straight...
