There are posted sigs on about 1,000 acres surrounding this property and most of the guys hunt for bigger deer, keep getting nicer every year thanks to the 1 buck rule. This is the 6 th year for it and consistently seeing bigger deer, taxidermist out here said he checked in more 140 plus deer last year then he has since he started doing it 20 some years ago.

Beeeeutiful bucks. It's a great confidence builder when you can visualize what "may" come walking up at any moment, instead of guessing.
Good luck this fall!

the 1 buck rule in Indiana is just that you may only take one antlered deer per year. That includes all seasons, archery, muzzleloader, and general firearms. If you shoot a buck with any weapon then your just doe hunting the rest of the year. I too have noticed a big difference in the property I hunt in Indiana since the rule went into afect.

I too have seen more trophy bucks since IDNR implimented the "1 Buck Rule". I hope they keep this regulation in the books for a long time.
