«
on:
August 27, 2008, 09:24:00 AM »
I want to learn some basic leather craft in order to make a few items. Can someone sugest a book that covers tools and how to use them? I Looked at an online book source and there was many to choose from, but I do not know which is a good one. If someone and give me the name of a cerain book I will locate it.
Thanks, Brant

Brant, if you have a "Tandy" store nearby check with them. They have a number of books on leather. Also they are usually helpful and sometimes will demonstrate their products, and even have classes.
Good luck,

Brant, twofletch said it. I'm a rookie at this leather craft stuff, but found the Tandy folks very helpful.

I did some leather work for probably 20 years and then talked to a guy at a gun show that made custom holsters and knife sheaths, I learned more from him in 10 minutes than I had learned in the previous 20 years on my own.
