I'm shooting off the shelf after shooting off a weatherrest for years.

I cant my bow when I shoot. I've had an arrow end up resting on the top of the weatherrest against the riser. Ended up wounding a nice buck when the arrow flew off wildly because I didn't look down to make sure the arrow was on the "finger." Made me sick to see that deer running off with that arrow in it's rump. Won't happen again shooting off the shelf.
