Jashu, Here's what works for me. If you have access to a stationary belt sander, take your snuffers and mark all the edges with a black sharpy marker. with very lite pressure, hold the blade on the belt sander until all the marker is gone. Repeat for each side. The snuffers that come out of the box do need work, but this takes about 3 minuets per blade. Once you get the flat angle down you can move on to the stone and it won't take nearly as long. Snuffers are a great product and my favorite because I am SO sharpening challenged. It's pretty much idiot proof once you get the angle set.
