Thought it might be nice to celebrate the unsung heroine's of so many of our hunts, the does. A trophy in their own right.
Here's a pic of a gal I took with my selfbow and stonepoint. The fawn was hit by car.
Anyone else out there with a trophy doe mount?

Thanks. Yea, I did the mount. Spent lots of time conceptualizing it and trying to bring it all together. Glad you enjoyed it. It was a labor of love.

Beautiful mount. I've been thinking go doing a Doe mount if I ever get one with the Traditional equipement. Have never harvested and animal with Trad equipement and a Doe to me would be just as much a trophy as a big buck.

This is my first traditional bow kill. Took me 10 years, so she is special to me. Jim

beautiful taxidermy work... I may "tribute" (mount) the first legal deer I can get killed with my Hoyt Pro Medalist Hunter this season. The bow is appx 38-40 years old. A tribute to Earl and Ann as well as the beautiful bow he made.
