Brace Height

Gents,

I have a Turkey Creek longbow that I bought second hand and dont have any baseline tuning info on. Do any of you know what the best range for their brace height is? Thanks!

Jim,
""When I sent Doug an email asking about brace height, he called me to explain how he measures it. He said that he measures brace height to the back of the bow at the shelf.
Going by that, my brace height is at 8 1/8". I believe the range Doug recommended was 7 1/2" - 8 1/2".""

""My TC is set at 8" and it's the best shooting, quietest bow I own.""

Hope that helps, heard of some using 7" so ya just have to play/tune.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!
