Here is my Massie Reverse handle longbow with new string from Bobby Graham JR. One of our own Tradgangers. Bobby made me two strings 65" B50, 14 strand, Brown/Yellow, both served with .018 trad serving.
The colors look real sweet with the dark chocolate color of the bow. A big Trad thanks to you Bobby AKA (bgram)

Art: I am hunting deer with my Kohannah longbow in my avatar. I will be using the Massie to hunt Elk in the late season. It pulls a little heavier than the kohannah and I want to make sure of good penetration if I connect on my first Elk.
Good luck to you if you are hunting this season. Hope you connect. Stay safe and straight shooting.

I have one just like it accept in a grey action wood handle, almost all my bows pull around 50@29, the massie pulls 59@29 and its so smooth you can barely tell the difference, only problem is I cant find any arrows that fly good out of it, what are you shooting out of yours?

Ian, I am shooting Arrow Dynamic Tradlites tipped with 150 grain Magnus Snuffers/Field tips. They fly straight and sweet. I pretty much shoot these same arrows through all of my bows as none of them pull more than 59lbs. Hope this helps.
By the way, I used to live in Slidell. I have a daughter that lives south of Baton Rouge in a place called Holden, LA. Are you familiar with it? I've been to the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival a few times.

They are carbon and IMHO the best on the market. 'Course I have not shot all the different brands but, of all the arrows I've shot, these are the tops. As I said, I shoot this same arrow out of all my bows and don't have to change anything. Don't have to worry about different spine, broad head weight, etc. etc. I just grab these arrows and no matter what bow I'm shooting, (I have 8), they fly true. Terry and Texas Bubba were a big help in me deciding on these arrows. Good luck!

Looks great! That'll really blend in well if you hunt with it. How's she shoot?

Curveman, she's a hard hitter and shoots smooth and straight. I'm actually really taking a liking to this bow. I've had it for a few years and only just now got a new string for it. Wish I had done it before! I am hoping to break her in on my first ever elk. Then I can christen her with an appropriate name.
