I'm shooting a Hornes Brushbow 49#@28" and a new PLX 50#@28" and thinking of going back to XX75 aluminums.I shoot a 29" arrow BOC. How does 2018's sound for both bows with a 125gr broadhead??

29in. 2016 with 125 up front would work perfect . If you want a heavy arrow go with 30in. 2018 with 145 up front . 2018 at 29in would be to stiff unless you went up in point weight to around 165 to 185.

I agree with Mike essentially. You might try the 2018 cut to 30.You may still be allright with the 125 grain head if the bows are cut to center. If you can get the 2018s to tune for you they are an excellant arrow for hunting with the extra weight and tuffness.

Hey, thanks a lot guys! I was wavering between the 2016's and 18's I think I'll stay with the 29" arrow and go with the 16's. Good hunting, Michael

What the bowstring is made up of also comes into play. With a dacron string, 2016, but with a fast flight string (D97), 2018.
