What are YOU taking in the field?
« on: September 14, 2008, 11:25:00 AM »
We all know you have multiple bows, dozens of arrows, and ten different types of camo patterns and boots, but when its 4 A.M. and you are packing the truck to go to your hunting ground, what do you take?  Anything from what hat you wear to what types of points you have in the quiver.  So here is mine.

53# @ 28" Tomahawk Diamond SS
2 MA-2 Broadheads with wooden shaft
1 Judo point
1 Blunt/Flu Flu
Quiver
Realtree AP Camo Shirt and Pants
Browning Featherweight Boots
Facepaint if I feel that tough
BUCK Skinning Knife
Nylon cord (15 feet)
Pelvis Bone Saw
Granola Bars (a must for me)
Waterbottle
Leather Gloves with shooting glove
And a little LUCK

What do you pack so you can deliver the punch?
Hunt Hard. Stay Safe. God Bless.

Last year I killed deer with 3 different bows. Proly do the same this year.

#1-Firefly TD longbow 58" 60@28.
#2-Robertson Peregrine Falcon 60" 55@28.
#3-Firefly TD longbow 58" 57@28 (havent got this one yet).
#4-the next bow I trade for, hopefully a Zipper recurve.

Carbons for the FF bows, douglas fir for the Robertson. All arrows will have either Magnus or Zephyrs on em.
Camo and wool clothing. Rubber boots, wrestling shoes when stalking. Guillie when in standing corn
Modified Summit Viper treestand or Treesuit when in the air.
One of my Helle's for field dressing. A couple flashlights, water, and snack round it out. Dont forget the Copenhagen.
