My new Fox Royal Crown came in Monday. Still tweaking it in but it shoots sweet. 60" bow 55# @ 28" . Bolivian Rosewood and Myrtle riser, with some sweet Myrtle veneers. Just in time for the season opener in a bit over a week.

That's a beauty!  I have one of Ron's Royal Crowns myself and it is a great bow!

Work of art.

Even someone who does not appreciate a beautiful bow would look at that as art.

Good luck with it.

I can't see the pics at work, but the Royal Crown is a great shooting bow.  If Ron ever produces a 3-PC T/D Triple Crown, I'll be placing an order!

Thanks for the compliments. I am happy with it. I first ordered a Breed with Rosewood and Bocote riser, Quilted Maple veneers. By the time I was done, the Breed had turned into what you see above LOL. Glad Ron is easy to deal with.

See,

I had to wait a bit over 4 months for this one. It might be a little longer now that hunting season is in out west. Ron is chasing elk right now, if I am not mistaken. The Royal Crown sells for $700, with a few upgrades available.

Bill,
I think I heard Ron mention something about a 3 pc Royal Crown when I talked to him at Cloverdale. DONT quote me on that, though.

Very nice! Those veneers are some of the coolest I've seen. Congrats.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Nice bow you got there, Brian.  Hope it turns into a MMM...Moose Meat Maker!

Kevin,

Sure wish I was up there chasing moose again. I havent heard how their bowhunters did yet this year. Shane hasnt been guiding yet, so he hadnt heard how they did.

If I could just get Miller to commit to making the trip again, I would mail my deposit today. Claims he has to send his daughter to college in a year or two. I dont even have kids of my own, and they are cutting into my play time LOL.

The veneers  on this bow are unlike any Myrtle I have ever seen. Ron said it was some he had left over from the anniversary model bows he made a few years back. Very unique stuff.
