I just got a bear montana 50#, and this thing is shooting great. I am shooting beman 400 bowhunter carbons cut to 30 inches with 100grain brass adapters and 125grain snuffers, totaling about 500 grains. This is my first longbow and although I did have to touch up one or two spots on the riser with some superglue and loctite, because I saw a small gap, for the money its sure a lot of fun.

Montana is a sleeper bow, very easy to point and nice shooters. You will make many fine memories with that stick.
