I met him last fall at sportsmans warehouse in pittsburgh. He was a really nice guy, talk to anyone for as long as you wanted. I like his shows and videos.

My 7 yr old son watches him every weekend and watches all his DVDs over and over. Hopefully he will meet him at the Bowhunters of Wyoming banquet next weekend.

Hey did anyone see the show last night where a couple of Fred's hunting buddies in Iowa pulled a fast one on ole Fred? They got the local DNR officer to play along with them and had Fred conviced he had an illegal tag on his beautiful 5x5 Iowa buck. Man did they ever get him, it was great to see Freds reaction when he found out he had been had!

Been waiting for Fred to get on here and post, but talked with him last week and he finally got his Desert Sheep on the last day and last afternoon. Now he only has the Stone Sheep to go and he will have his slam done with traditional equipment. He has that hunt schedules for August. It only took him almost 2 weeks to finally get a shot on his sheep, but he made it good on a very difficult shot and the guide said he was the 1st bowhunter he had that actually shot one. Congrats to Fred and look forward to him completing his slam and being the 1st one to do so with traditional equipment. Mark

Hey Mark,
I was waiting to see if Fred came on too. It sounds like he has a bunch of speaking engagements going on. It sounded like he and Jake snatched victory from the jaws of defeat on the Desert hunt. As I know you are aware, there are few people that are as much fun to share a camp with than Fred.

What I like about his show is he isnt a walking commercial and has a great sense of humor and just likes to hunt. It doesnt matter the size or the score to him and hes just as excited. Glad to here he got a sheep. He realy seems to get it done in high preasure situations.

I haven't seen many of his videos (I just don't watch many hunting videos)but what I have seen seemed well done, and obviously true fair chase.

I've been hunting with Fred a few times, and can say he is the real deal.
He is a down to earth guy, despite his notariaty. (spelling?)
He is a blast to hunt with, or just to be around.
He also is a hell of a shot with a recurve.
I'am sure he will kill his Stone sheep, and be the first traditonal archer to complete the slam.

Fred is a great guy & fun to shoot with & talk to.
Sun, March 4th, he brought his lovely wife Michelle & 3 kids to our Trad. indoor shoot in Raton NM. His 2 oldest boys shoot darn good too.
Just to be nice, they gave away Muzzy shirts & broadheads.
He told me the story about the Mt. Lion killing & then dragging the bull Elk. His hunter later killed the Lion.
Fred is a great representative for archery. BBP
