Spliced Banana Fletches.....
« on: September 25, 2008, 01:50:00 PM »
Hi all,

Well I'm home soon, 9 and counting, and I'm looking a moving back to Banana fletch for all my hunting arrows.

So... lets see some spliced up bananas. I'm not sure where to start and finish the colours. Some ideas are needed.

Many thanks,

AK.

Paul,
Do you splice them before you chop/burn them or after?

Here are the only ones I have left out of 6.  I got them at a TBM banquet silent auction. The only carbon arrows I have ever shot.  The top one killed my Kudu and one of it's twins dissapeared into the mud in a swamp pocket along Fletcher creek after it skimmed the back of a boar!   :bigsmyl:

Yup quieter they are and I love the looks of them. Plus not many shoot them so makes me sorta unique. LOL
