Any Machinist Bowyers out there?

Any info on this piece from the past? Anyone collect these?

Early Dalaa?   :bigsmyl:

Neat old find, wouldn't recommend drawing it though as some of those old aluminum bows where known to give up the ghost.

Ed Pitchkites wrote about shooting an aluminum bow. I think it was what he shot the first archery deer in Indiana with.

It would be a good one to hang on the wall as a conversation piece.  I don't know much about them either but I do know one of the main reasons they were only made for a short time was because they were bad about coming apart, like others have said.

Now there is one you could hang out on the barn wall with the racks, and never worry about it rotting away.....
