Aging a Bear Grizzly
« on: September 27, 2008, 11:33:00 AM »
Hey all you Bear Experts,

I have a 58 inch, 45# Bear Grizzly Fascor with a serial number of KD15937.  Any idea what year it was made and if it was in Grayling?

Dave

Would need a riser color to get more specific, and pics always help. The fascor logo would most likely put it between '74-'77.

And I'd say "yes" it is a Grayling bow. Should actually say so on the lower limb, belly side.

The riser is brownish with a slight green tint and it has a reddish orange accent stripe.  I see the Grayling on the lower limb now.  It has the Victor logo and says Super Grizzly with Fascor.

Thanks, Dave

The serial number on the Super Grizzly in the 1976 catalog is KD15543.

So.....I'd say its a '76.
