which string for nomad stalker

hey guys, i got an old browning stalker for free this weekend, the string is shot so i'm looking for rec's on which string to put on it.  its 44#'s and 52", is there something i can buy off the shelf?  not worried about cost just whatever will make the most of this bow.

I would recommend a dacron string,thats what I shoot on my Nomad.Dacron strings are usally around $10-12.Check the sponsor's classfied section.

You would want a string for a recurve 52" AMO which is usally about a 48" string length.Thats a general rule of thumb.I like to measure the string on the bow if it is there and the brace is set right.If there is no string I just go with the AMO.

Thank you very much for the reply, there was no string on the bow so I'll go with the amo like u suggested, thanks again!
