An early Xmas gift - Two bows to mail
« on: October 02, 2008, 08:25:00 PM »
I have been truly blessed and want to help someone out. I have a 66" LEFT HAND longbow that is 50lbs at 28." It's in nice shape with a few minor scuffs. I would like to donate this to someone who is in need.It may take me a few weeks or so to get it packed and shipped but I'll get it done. So, what I need is someone to send this to. I'm sure there is a person in need out there somewhere but I need help to find that person. I just wish I had more than one to send. Please send me your sugegstsions and just a line or two about the person.

Thanks in advance.

Ron

I can tell already that there is a much greater need that I can fix. I will take a few names and then pick one. This thread may be very short. Depending on who is chosen I may be able to add a few arrows with the bow also if they are needed.

I have edited this to:"ON HOLD." It is truly humbling to see how great the needs are out there. I will contact the person to get the bow by tomorrow and re-open this thread as necessary if the bow is declined for some reason.

Well, I didn't know how hard a thing this would be to do. So many people in so many types of need. In fact I rounded up a second bow that will have a new home. One bow will be on its way to West Virginia and the second one will be on its way to Indiana as soon as I can get them packed up.

The only condition on this deal was that should the recipients decide not to use the bow that the bow is given away in a similar fashion.

Thank You for the kind words and thoughts and I am truly blessed with friends and family.
