heading out this morning
« on: October 04, 2008, 04:53:00 AM »
I leave in about an hour to go hunting, had a lot of stress this week with school and work and yesterday after school I was able to deer hunt for the first time this season,didn't see anything but it was hot so that may have been why, I am hunting with the new sheepeater shaman(a new model from black mountain bows)the tips of this bow are made from the hoofs of a buffalo that Brent killed, man can it shoot!!!!!!!!!!, its amazing how hunting can relieve stress, well wish me luck, with any luck I might get my first deer with trad equipment   :pray:

Brent is a fine gent, and that bow has some magic in it. Hunt well, and bring home memories that will sustain you. A deer would be nice, too!

Even a bad day of hunting beats a good day at school!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
