450 Plus worked great on longbows but I much prefer 8125 for my recurves now.  Mark

I've never been too crazy about 450+.  I use Dynaflight '97 on my longbow, recurve, and selfbows.

I had some 450+ black,it bleed black, the worse I've seen.It looked liked I was playing with a chunk of coal when finished making a string.I much prefer D97 as my string of choice, better priced then other low stretch materials. It is quieter then my old FF and gives me great performance, only string I use anymore except for a couple of old recurves.
