250? I didn't know there were that many trad archers in all of Oklahoma!
times 50!!!!! McAlester will never be the same. Good luck and have fun. Give us a good report about the successes down there.

Yeah, I want to hear about that. That's on my "to do" hunt list I think.

I drew out for the Nov. 7th thru 9th hunt this year, can't wait. The only bad thing about the hunt is most of the people that draw pick-up a recurve the week of the hunt. I would say that most of them are not trad all year. One of the white hats actually is there to give shooting instructions to those that don't know how to shoot a stickbow.

Good luck guys. Didn't draw this year. Had a great hunt the last two years there. Go prepared to stay in the woods all day if you can. That is what I have done the last few times I drew and it paid off. Take some good heavy arrows for those porkers.
Keep us informed of your success.
Crash, you gonna camp there or drive back and forth from the house. :^)

I grew up in Oklahoma and applied for that tag for many years. I stopped applying in 2001 I think. congrats on the draw and good luck. I've always heard it was a blast.
