Darryl Broszeit Longbows
« on: October 19, 2008, 05:52:00 PM »
Does anyone own one of his bows? I would like to see some pics as the ones on his sight are not too large and detail cannot be seen well.

If you own one, how does it perform for you? Maybe looking to have one made. Any info appreciated.

Larry, I forgot about those Mohawks! Thanks for reminding me. Gonna head over to his sight and take a look.

Still looking for some pics of some of Darryls work though.

I've seen a few of his bows over the years. They seem to perform quite well, and were fairly well made. But I'm kinda spoiled when it comes to good looking bows, shoot nothing but Caribows personally. It's hard to match the quality of a Caribow.

Can't help you out with pics though.

Man, I'm raring to go!! I sure hope the elk are going to be in that area that I seen all the sign. My biggest worry is with the gun toters running through the woods right now, they may move out. I would love to take a nice fat cow and have some steaks on the table!

I was just thinking about Darryl the other day.  Anyone know what he has been up to, haven't spoken with him or heard much about him in 8-10 years.

I have tried several times to get in touch with him. Several years ago he told me over the phone that he was going to stop making bows for a while, and after that I tried to contact him via email and phone but had no luck.

I live about 15 miles from him. I heard a few years ago he was quitting bow building to concentrate on his music more. But that's all I know, he isn't involved with any of our local clubs, and never has been.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Wish he would pull his website if he is no longer making bows. Or at least state that on there.
