Redoing snake skin.
« on: October 20, 2008, 03:01:00 PM »
I Picked up a black widow LAG Its a Nice Bow but someone put snake skins on it which is fine, but the Bow is a Gray finish & they didn't use anything to whiten it before they put the Copperhead skins down. you can hardley see them & they are gray not copper.
How do I fix this? Can I Go Over the currant skin's with something So I have a white base & What do you use Paint or something else?
Do I Have to remove the first set of skins before i redo it?
 Thank's for any help.

Jeff, You have to put the lighter, even white on the limb before you apply copperhead skins. You are pretty much stuck with what you have at this point. Or you can remove them and start over,
