Anyone use Lone Wolfs "Wolf Pack" Vest?
« on: October 21, 2008, 11:02:00 PM »
I am considering purchasing Lone Wolfs " Wolf Pack" vest to carry my tree stands. Has anyone tried one of these? Anyone ever atttached  a small backpack to the back of your tree stand when it is attached to the vest system? Are they comfortable to wear? All comments appreciated.

I am field testing one for 3 Rivers right now.  The workmanship is outstanding.  Lots of pockets and very comfortable.  When you hook the stand and sticks up and get it on your back it really travels nicely in the woods.  Plenty of room for gear for a day of hunting.  I like mine so far but not done giving it a workout yet.

I love Lonewolf stands, but this pack was to much sugar for a nicle, in my opinion.. to much to fool with. I like it simple for packing in and going up a tree... Just me..

I've been strapping my Lone Wolf stand to a Badlands 2200 pack. Works pretty good and I can use the pack for many other things as well.

I bought one from Lone Wolf and returned it.  I broke a strap testing putting my climber on it in my garage.  Needless to say I returned it.  I don't think it is worth $100.  The buckles are just cheap plastic.

I have one for sale in the Classifieds, in the "stands and blinds" section.  It's been used once.  It's a very good pack, but I don't think it was designed for short, stocky guys like me.

FYI, Angelo at Bison Gear makes an awesome pack that your lonewolf or whatever stand fits inside. It has a bottom zipper so when you want the stand you just uno zipper and stand slides out. It's quiet and has pouches for everything else you need.
