Missed My Camp Company This Year
« on: October 25, 2008, 10:29:00 AM »
In August I left Colorado to move back home to Montana. Its nice to be back, but I was not able to hunt big game this year. While looking at some pics from hunts over the last few years in Colorado, I came across this one. Every year a few gray jays would hang around camp and keep us company. Have not found any this friendly here yet. It is good to be back home but I'll sure miss a couple wilderness areas in Colorado.

On the plus side, I have a wilderness area closer to home now. While scouting the area for next fall, I came across this bull.

Nice pics.

If you could have only gotten the jays to rat out where the deer were hiding for a few measly crackers.    :D
