A little bow maintenance
«

My rug rest was just about worn down to the backing. Had some Beaver fur around and thought, yep that will work. Cut the hide to fit the shelf. Then trimmed the hair down to the felt. Glued it on and new rug rest. Took it out to shoot this morning, did a little adjusting of string leaches, and I am very happy. Bow is whispering and shooting like a champ.

Hey Jerry,
looks good, is that the Talon? Took it down to the felt? Think it'll hold up in the rain? Does me good to see how much you have been getting into your equipment these days. Talk to you soon Brother.

I think it will hold up in the rain buddy. It is some pretty dense stuff. Even if it is wet, I'm sure it will do the job. I gotta come over to shoot, the old Talon is workin sweet.
