Well this just has not been my year. I should have 5 deer down by this time but since i switched to all trad after i killed my first doe earlier this year i just aint had much luck. While i was digging pocket sets a friend ran me and my bro down and asked us if we wanted to wack a few fish. Needing some more trap bait we jumpped at the opportunity! this was our first attempt at bowfishing, and now we are "hooked" forever. our buddy let us borrow his recurve bowfishing set up and took us to his best spot. it was 27* this morning so they were not swiming much, but they made easy targets when they presented themselves. I Shot 2 times and got 1 buffalo, bro got one too...in all enough fish to bait 200 coon sets!
