I anxiously opened the cover of my recent purchase and dove in last night. I have come upon several great images and lines just within the first few pages. One of them is a result of Dave pondering how time changes us all. The line is "While a young man fears that to go too slow is to risk missing something, an older man knows that to go too fast is to risk missing everything." This is one of many lessons that archery hunting has taught me. Actually archery and time has taught me to slow down and the more you observe the more you will see and get out of your surroundings and life in general! I can see this is going to be one of my all time favorite books already. Thanks Dave. We have had similar experiences it seems. From it, I too, make a point "not just to tell, but to show my wife how much I love her," We all should take the time to do that.
