Best small game heads?

From YOUR experience, what is the best head for small game like rabbits, coons, and opossum?  I had a complete passthrough on a coon roughly 25ft up in a tree with a judo point (how that happened?   :confused:  )  the other day and lost a good arrow    . Bout 20 mins later another one came down the side and all i had was a dull zwickey I keep for rabbits when i'm deer hunting.  I moved around to where the arrow would hit the tree and figured the weight of the coon would bring the arrow down with it...WRONG..its still stickin up in the tree and the coon just slid right off of it. I did get 2 nice pelts out of the deal though.  Im not real big on the rubber blunts so i've never used em.  Are the ace hex head bunny busters any good?  Thanks for any advice

i like the ace hex blunts they are a very good head.
mostly just use old broadheads though

For coons, possum, and rabbit I agree with tradtussker.  Old broadheads with broken points or some other reason that I won't use it for deer anymore.

Haven't tried everything, but I really like the small game heads from Magnus.  Kind of a screw-in manufactured version of what Ben suggested above with blunt/bleeder .357 casing.  They will pass through small critters like squirrels and rabbits, but let's just say if you get a body shot, the field dressing is already done!

yip Terrys modified WWs are awesome i have done that with snuffers also both make for a very tough and deadly small game head. thanks Terry

I like hex heads with adder points. Cheap and tough.

Muzzy SGX works great although we only offer a 100gr version, but will be offering it in a 125gr version for next year.  It has done very well for us this year and works great on small game and with enough energy, larger stuff as well.  A regular Muzzy head with the practice blades in them work very well also, especially so on those larger western grouse.  Mark

I really like a MA3 clipped back about 3/8 of an inch.  I sharpen the blades and they are wicked.

They don't stick too deep in trees, tend to catch in grass and brush and don't cost an arm and a leg.

I tried the Muzzy this year and really liked it. As a matter of fact I'm planning on going hunting with them again tomorrow for ruffed and blue grouse.

I've not used them very long.  Only been out shooting at trees and critters 3 or 4 times.

But a good ole fieldtip with and adder point behind it is flying well, has not stuck into a tree(yet), and did one heck of a number on a squirrel.

They weight 25gr and cost less than $1 a piece.

The only down side if you glance a trunk or limb it woun't "catch" like a judo, it'll send your arrow into oblivion. Lost one arrow that way.  They hold up much better than judo.  

I have one sharpened up a bit but haven't got to use it yet on game.
