Fella once showed me his sure fire way to clean cotton tails. pinched the belly fur and tore the belly cavity open. Took front legs in one hand rears in the other and gave it a big outward thrust. Guts swung around and hit him right in the kisser. This method is way better.

My dad seen that on Michigan Out Of Doors last fall and used it during bunny season last year.  Works just like that and no that bunny was not gutted before you do that.  That is pretty slick!! dino

That is soooooo neat! I was shown a way to take out the guts once by opening up the rabbits belly, then swinging it fast like a baseball bat.It worked purty slick but left the skin on.I was showing a guy how to do it once and he thought it was cool,so when he tried it he slung guts all over the guy standing beside him!!! Yea we rolled on the ground laughing, learned how not to sling a rabbit though! This is a lot better way I think.
