Total arrow weight is 665 grains. They're the Axis 400s cut to 29.5" bop. They have the 100 grain brass inserts. The Wensel Woodsmans are mounted on 100 grain steel adaptors. Everything is held together with hot melt glue. I don't need epoxy and so far, have never lost one of the points in any targets. I bought a roll of the reflect tape and used it for the caps. I don't see how you could loose one of those arrows as they shine to high heaven once hit with a flash light. I sharpen the heads with a good file and run each edge over some leather for a few stokes and they're shaving sharp. They spin test perfectly too. Each cutting edge of the broadhead is lined up with a fletch. The point end of the arrows are footed with 1 1/2" of aluminum shafting, which is epoxied. The bow is a 1991 Black Widow HS model, 60", 55#@ 28". I'm using one of Papa Bull's Mountain Muffler strings. You may notice the limb savers and also the limb saver stabilizer. It helps with noise and really locks the bow in on target. I shoot this bow off the shelf with velcro rest, spaced out with two layers of leather to get the arrows flying straight. I can't see why Black Widow wouldn't bring the HS model back as it's one of the very best shooting bows I've ever owned. I don't see how you could improve it.
For those who are interested in having a bow camo dipped, the guy's name is Lonnie and his email addy is [email protected]  He does a great job. He works with Sipsey River, a sponsor of this site.

I agree that the deer and story are really good....the hat (on the other hand) is killer!

Glad you guys like the hat! :) Just an ole boonie with some fake leaves sewed on. It has become my favorite bowhunting hat and blends real well in the Fall woods. Have to turn the brim up like that as I can't stand for my bow string to touch a hat brim, no matter how crushable it may be.
