Today seems like THE DAY.
« on: November 10, 2008, 09:27:00 AM »
Driving home from work this morning there were bucks chasing does all over the place. Now I'm sitting home with the baby looking out my office window, there are bucks chasing does all over my neighborhood.  I wish I was in my blind today!  It is the 10th of Nov. and I have always had the most chasing activity in my area between the 10th and the 15th. Good luck to any one out there on stand.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Watched 4 Bucks chase a doe for 2 hours yesterday. Never came close enough for any shots. Had a spike and a button buck under Me two different times. They wanted in on the chase but every time they entered the field They were ran off By the smallest of the 4 a basket racked 8 pointer.

Good luck hunting everyone it should only get better as the week goes on. bretto

Absolutely! Went walking/scouting Saturday afternoon after not seeing anything in the AM. Walked down a hedgerow and had a big doe pop out about 20 yards in front of me. Next thing I see is a big 8 point pop out on her butt chasing her. THEN another doe is behind the buck. Probably the big does fawn. Didn't have the bow with me GO FIGURE! My Bud Steve just came over after a evening sit. He had a nice big spike running a doe at 4:20 this afternoon. Sat in the morning and saw nothing he said 4:20 the woods came alive. The spike was running her all around his stand and he couldn't get a shot off.

Last Thursday was the first chase I have seen this season but they haven't stopped since  :D

Friday night I almost closed the deal on a monster, Grunted him right in to 22 yds but ran out of daylight  :banghead:    :banghead:

We came close many times this weekend but just can't seem to get it done on a bigun. Passed on several smaller bucks and some does but we got some great video and picks.

Took the rest of the week off and so were hopeful  :archer:    ;)
