Bi-Delta 4" Rain Vanes
«

With all this rainy weather, thinkin bout setting up one of my recurves for rainy day hunts. Wondering if anyone has had any experiance with Bi-Delta Rain Vanes. Do they work, and do you have to have an elavated rest with them. 3-Rivers sells them, and says they are shootable off the shelf if rotated properly. Anyway appreciate any input, thanks and good hunting.

Some of a batch of 1916 aluminum arrows I bought recently were fletched with vanes..not sure what brand...anyway...there is very little difference in where they hit compared to the feather fletched ones. I did have to open the throat of the nocks up a bit with a points file (for you electronic ignition kids out there...research that one). I put a couple on the bow quiver in case of a downpour.

i got some rainvanes from 3rivers last year & fletched some cx edge hunters for my 55# widow .
they take some `shooting in `to soften up ,
but they do shoot well .
i carry them in 2 qdq qivers on my bow & the featherd arrows ride in my dawgwear quiver
