Carbon shaft advice?
« on: November 17, 2008, 04:11:00 PM »
hey what is a quality carbon shaft for a 53# @ 28 inches longbow? Im drawing the bow just a hair over 27 inches. What would the length of the arrow need to be? Also what about the spine? Thanks for the help

Gold Tip 35/55's, Arrow Dynamic Trad Lites, CX 150's,  The length will depend on your point wt. You could use Brass inserts in any of these shafts.

This is pretty much the exact set up I am using.  I am shooting CE Heritage 150's, 29" long with 125 Gr up front, 3-5" Fletch out back..
Damn Nice guy

Is your bows sight window cut to center?  It can make a big difference.
