Blind hunting over water very do-able. Some more suggestions. There are areas of WY that G&F will show 1000 tags, however look at the ratio of private land to public. BLM maps best source. 1000 tags in an area with 75% or more private lands is a farce. You will be lucky to get permission without paying, it is possible but I wounldnt depend on that for an out-of-state hunt. Look to areas with a lot of public (BLM) lands. Also dont hunt checker board areas they are as useless as private. These areas have a section of BLM and then section of private. When you see a BLM map you will know what I am taking about. There is a lot of room in WY, and lot of antelope. I forget the name but there is a company that offers a state map in one easy to carry book like a atlas. It shows private, BLM, national forest and what have you. Its detail is not very good but it can help you decide on an area and then you can get detail maps from the BLM office or off the web. If you would like to talk more you can send a private message and I will help all I can.
