Marty McMillan dies in tragic accident

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that knew Marty. I knew he was a member of Tradgang since I watched his videos that he posted. What a tragic accident! Rest in peace.

Very tragic. Sad to hear and he was still a young man at 51 years old.

I had the pleasure of shooting in Marty's group at a couple of 3D's this past year.  We had a good time chatting about hunting and his boat. First time i met the guy but we hit it off talking about elk and bear hunts. A tragic loss!
Mint, I know the guys at Peconic are waiting for the details about funeral arrangements.  Please pm me if you hear anything so I can fwd it on I will do the same.  Joe

I could not imagine what Marty's son is going through after seeing his father pulled overboard and drowning. My prayers are with him.

That's terrible. Trying not to hurt someone elses livelyhood and then that.

Another reason though to ALWAYS have a good sharp knife on you. I got tangle up once and had to cut my anchor free (just a small anchor on a rope), but it sure made me think.
