Ben Person Bow ?
« on: December 03, 2008, 05:18:00 PM »
A friend of mine just got a Ben Person Bow and I told him I would find out what I could on this bow.  Ben Person
      Silencer TD 7158
      Made in 1973
      ser.# 57324-123
      58"   50# @ 28"
This has an Aluminum ( sort of a dove tail) system with a treaded bolt that has a slot to use a coin or such to take it down. Shoots very good and is quite fast. Also, what is the possible value of this bow?........Chortdraw

Hi Dale

They are pretty common bows, kinda neat two piece takedowns. I see them on the auctions sites usually around the 125-175 price range. Man I miss town, keep watch of your backside. I'll be stalking ya before long  :D  I hope

Thanks Brent. Don't know what to tell him as he paid 250 for it . That guy must have been a smooth talker. Going to get on the cold side this next week but it has been great so far. They will be starting the Sunday shoots at Ben Avery around the end of Jan. and Feb. We try to make a few during the cold months up here.  Take care Buddy
