Sorry, it's the Huron.  I was typing from memory.

I had a chance to shoot the flat bow a couple of weeks ago when I picked up my 74# Baraga.

I'm going with th 62" rather than the 64".

Comes back very smooth and zero hand shock.  Out of all the D style longbows I have shot Steves are the best for me.

don't know if your into selfbows but glenn newell makes selfbows with aussie timber in a flatbow sort of style. search his name and give him a PM, if that intrests you.

I have had a Stotler,excellent flatbow and have had a CM Firebird a flatbow with a set back grip another sweet bow.And my Thunder Mt. Coyote flatbow a R/D flatbow with a semi reverse handle.

Thanks ozy, he and I've been emailing back and forth for a while now. Nice guy. I'll be dropping in on his operation sometime after Christmas to check out his wares.
