Every bow is a bit different...kinda like people. I don't know specifics of HH bows, but I usually start at around 7" on a longbow and then adjust up or down from there until I get a quiet bow that shoots well. Most longbows will be happy between 6 3/4 and 7 3/4 inches.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. Just needed to know where to start. Got a great little Wesley Special off the classifieds and want to go shoot her this weekend.
