Great story, my son has hunted with me every opening day for deer season since he was 4. He is now 24 and we again hunted opening day. Then I helped him move to Arizona. I have to say hunting with him has always been my favorite thing. Not sure what next year will bring but I have 20 years of great memories which include cuddling with him while he slept, to being with him when he got his first deer. I am so happy to have had those time together!

That is great a tradition and legacy preserved, no matter what happens a part of you will always be around as it is handed down.

  Thanks for the visual! I'm wondering if I'll ever see that smile with my own son, as he seems to be losing interest.

Nice.  I'm waiting for my grandson to be old enough to hunt...another couple years yet.
