Fast Flight string question??????
«
on:

Just changed my string on my X150 martin to a fastflight, and I was curious as to what differnce this would make in my arrow spine. I shot tonight and my arrows seemed to fly quite different than with the dacron string. THanks for any replies.

Usually need to stiffen the spine a little when moving from dacron to a fast flite string.

How were the arrows flying diffrently? It could be a nocking point, or brace height problem. What type of arrows are you using?

You may want to check with Martin and make sure you can use ff on that bow.If not you can blow the limb tips off.

Checking with martin is a good idea to see if the X150 is FF compatable. As for your question, it will make your arrows act week. You will need to drop down in point weight or shorten your arrow or go to a stiffer spine arrow.

It is FF compatible, I actually called the tech at Martin and he sent me this string free of charge to try. It came with a Dacron, he did assure me that this bow can take a FF string. I think I got it figured out Bow is an x150 50 at 28 Im drawing at 27 played with the brace height tonight and its seems to be shooting better. 2117's 250 grain tip cut to 28in
