Saxon Hawk bow questions
« on: March 07, 2007, 10:23:00 PM »
Emailed Saxon to see if I could use FF and they said you could not on the older ones. Told me if it has Phenolic tips than you could. Well mine has Deer antler tips so I take it I cant use FF on mine. Thats a bummer. Also they never told my the proper brace height so does anyone else here have any knowledge of these bows? I would sure appreciate it. Just got it today and its a sure looker.

Thanks Eric

Sorry, I should have read your post more carefully. My American has a recommended brace of 7 1/4".

Saxon hawk longbow or recurve? If it's a longbow
with antler tips I'd use fast flight.

I have a Saxon Hawk longbow and the recommended brace height is 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 inches. Mine shoots best for me at 7 1/4.

From what I read on the paperwork that came with by bow brace height range is the same for both recurve and longbow.
