Your first picture reminded me of a hunt several years ago my buddy and I went on.

We drove 2hrs down into WV during the late deer season in spite of the weather. It was really cold, windy, and snowing. We trudged through a foot of snow all morning without seeing a thing.

As we were warming up the wind was literally rocking the truck. My buddy looks at me and says "Ya know, I left a perfectly good naked woman to be here with you today. There's really something wrong with that!"

After a good laugh we pointed the truck north and headed home.

The tough hunts are the ones we will remember.

Good thread, thanks.

Ksbowman, Fatman and I will be headed south to hog hunt with the Wensel boys also. We will be there during the week of 2/23.

First hog hunt for me! I just got my information packet today…. I can hardly wait!

I thought we WERE going to the REAL bunny ranch and then we get out of the truck and its -20 degrees. Nothing "HOT AND STEAMY" about this trip....talk about some false advertisement.   :D

Definately a fun hunt and more rabbits than I've ever seen. If only I could have felt my hands and been able to draw up on them.

Here are some more pictures.

Thank goodness for the provisions of beef jerky and hot chocolate.

For a place that had only fair deer hunting according to the conservation department there were some nice rubs.
