A Hunter's Heart

I just finished reading a great book titled A Hunter's Heart. It is a collection of essays about hunting, it gets into some very deep philosophy about why and how we hunt. I would recommend it to any one of you, it really got me thinking deeply on some more in depth ways of looking at hunting.
Just thought I'd share

If you liked A Hunter's Heart you've got to read Heartsblood. Through Dave's books I've been introduced to guys like Edward Abbey, Richard Nelson and Paul Shepard who have helped me understand how I tick. Kind of like an owner's manual of my own self being. Thank you David Petersen.

Definately a great read! Dave Petersen has many more wonderful books that can be found at
www.davidpetersenbooks.com.
My personal favorite is a Man Made of Elk, in my opinion, the finest book written on a traditional bowhunter's passion for the Wapiti. Dave is one of our finest, not only as an author but as a true conservationist. T

Dave is a Tradgang sponsor and you can find a link to his books in the sponsor classifieds. I just bought a couple for Christmas presents (one for myself).
