Family serves too, that's for sure.
Here are some favorite pics from home, for those who are far away. All these places are still here and safe because of the work you do. I can never give you thanks enough, I can only let you know that you are not forgotten.
The cool springs in the mountains are covered in ice and rime, but they still flow abundantly and feed the land, house the brook trout and fill the beaver ponds.
Campfires burn bright in lonely American hillsides and bayous. Hunters stalk God's gifts, and return to the fires to share and tell of their discoveries.
The snows are falling and the tracking is good.
But the woods will be empty for me until you are home safe, with your family, and can wake up in the free air and know that chances are, what you see will be good.
If I weren't an old lady, and if I could go out there and stay useful, I would be watching over you with my 7-08 Varmint with the 25 power Weaver on it. I will send my prayers, though, and one who is far more powerful than I will surround you with a love that never sleeps, strength that never fades, and life that never ends. May you all have peace, and return safely to your families.
